About the Job

At BeHope.ca, we are looking for a passionate Software Developer to join our growing company! You will be working on projects that not only lead towards our mission but also constantly evolve & grow as our business scales and growth.

Minimum qualifications for the Job :

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Software Engineer or related domains.
• Strong efficiency in React.js, React Native, Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience working with data structures or algorithms during projects, research, internships, or practical experience in college/University or work (e.g. open-source coding).
• Familiarity with MERN stack or React Native.

Preferred qualifications for Job :

• Experience with software development in one or more programming languages (Preferrably Javascript).
• Experience with Rest & GraphQL APIs and third-party libraries.
• Familiar with Git, version control, and deployment processes.
• Must be to learn other coding languages and stacks as required.
• AWS knowledge good to have but not mandatory.
• Experience developing accessible & reliable Technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work on web development projects using modern technologies like the MERN stack and React Native.
• Design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve software solutions.
• Manage project priorities, meet deadlines, and ensure timely delivery of key features.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services for seamless functionality.
• Actively participate in code reviews; share constructive feedback and support team growth.
• Keep yourself updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in web development.
